Some sad news before the weekend. Jennifer Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, was found shot to death in her Chicago home. There were 2 bodies found at the house and that other body is rumored to be of Jennifer's brother, Jason Hudson. E! News is reporting:

Officer John Mirabelli of the Chicago Police Department tells E! that officers were called to the 7000 block of Yale Avenue in the neighborhood of Englewood, where just before 3 p.m. they discovered two unresponsive adults—one male, one female—who had apparently been shot to death.
The shooting is believed to be domestic, according to police. Various reports are claiming that the other victim was Hudson's older brother, Jason Hudson.

My sporadic posting

I know I have been absent/sporadic in my posting. I can easily say that I have just been too busy with life, the social aspect of it in general, to post regularly. But there is way more to it than that. For one, I'm bored AS FUCK with everything. Am I the only one who noticed that almost EVERY urban blog post the samethang but with different captioning? Don't get me wrong, I love opinions like I love pizza but the blog surfing has gotten dull. It's the same shit everyday, Beyonce and Jay Z wedding bands, Rihanna overly dressed up and shopping or stopping at a KFC, DMX newest arrest or thick/chubby/fat/chunky girl bashing (because there is a lot of that, like a size 2-4 is normal for the average American woman). I can really do without all that shit.

While doing all this pondering, I came to the conclusion that I was SOUL SEARCHING. Looking for "something else". I don't know exactly what that "something else" is but I know I'll find it. And I also started working on another blog. One that will be more personal and dear to me. I still have some work to do on it. So be looking out for it.

And despite how I am feeling, there are still an array of blogs I do visit. Blogs with fresh and funny content (Best Week Ever and Cracked.com). Blogs with new music because you can never go wrong with new music (What Eye Thought). Horror movie blogs (my favorite genre), beauty (not fashion) blogs and personal blogs (Kali Bay Bay). Blogs that have more than one aspect to it. And shit like that.

I want to bring this to an end. I am still going to post here. Maybe not so much. I know I can't just abandon this, I'll feel too bad. Just thought I'd give an explanation of what has been going on. Back to our normal schedule.

LAPD arrested Kanye West and his assistant at LAX, this morning, for felony vandalism. Apparently he wasn't feeling all the "flashing lights" at the airport:

A still photographer was trying to take pics of Kanye at the American Airlines terminal. According to our guy on the scene, Kanye allegedly confronted the photog and smashed his camera to the ground.
Our photog then began videotaping the scene when Kanye's assistant grabbed our camera -- a struggle ensued and the assistant threw the video camera to the ground, breaking it.
When Kanye realized our camera guy had videotaped the incident, he rushed our guy and yelled, "Gimme that f**king tape!"

Even though Kanye is a celebrity, he deserves some type of privacy. Although, at the same time I understand that being crowed with cameras and such is a part of the job; something to be expected. Either way, he broke a fucking camera and to arrest him on a felony is some bullshit. I'm pretty sure there was a robbery somewhere in progress (and I'm guessing; were in a recession! I been thinking about hitting a bank or two myself) and there were more urgent matters at hand. Both him and his assistant will be charged.

I know I am a few days late on this but I had to post. Earlier this week Fatimah Jester, claimed her baby daddy, Yung Joc was in the rear $2000 on his child support payment. And she also said Joc has been refusing to stay in contact with her and that she was struggling. Joc (real name: Jasiel Robinson) called into Atlanta's V103 radio station on Monday (August 18) where he stressed the fact that he pays monthly payments to Fatimah Jester, but when the process was delayed -- beyond his control -- she made a big deal out of it.

"I never missed a payment," Joc said during the radio interview. "I don't pay it directly to her; I pay it through [the Georgia Department of Resources Office of Child Support Services]. My banker wires the funds to DHR; they wire the funds right to her account. However long that takes, she needs to discuss that with them, and not put me out there bad like that."

So the bitch also calls the radio station to try to recant what she said earlier. She said that Joc is, in fact, current on his child support payments. She said the problem was her getting her checks on the 3rd instead of the 1st of the month. All this because your check be 2 days late? I bet if the bitch had her OWN source of income, them two days wouldn't mean shit. Sitting around all month waiting on a check. The child support is for the child, not the mother's lifestyle. Bernie Mac died of pneumonia complications this morning in Chicago. He was 50 years old.

"Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital," his publicist, Danica Smith, said in a statement from Los Angeles.
The comedian suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005. He recently was hospitalized and treated for pneumonia, which his publicist said was not related to the disease.
He was one of "The Original Kings of Comedy" in the 2000 documentary of that title that brought a new generation of black standup comedy stars to a wider audience.
"The majority of his core fan base will remember that when they paid their money to see Bernie Mac ... he gave them their money's worth," Steve Harvey, one of his co-stars in "Original Kings," told CNN on Saturday.

Apparently, the rumors that Rick Ross was a correctional officer in Flordia during the 90's are true. And not that it's bad or anything but the bitch denied it vehemently.

Ross (real name: William Leonard Roberts) was appointed a prison guard in December 1995 at a salary of $22,913.54, according to the below personnel record, which was provided to TSG by Jo Ellyn Rackleff, a DoC spokesperson.
